Very very friendly and helpful personell (.. no problems with early check-in and they even gave us a lift to the bus station as we were leaving); nice and clean room (there's no furniture to store your stuff in though - that could be a problem for longer stays) and common areas; great location - nice neigbourhood, 15-20 minutes walking distance from the center, close to bus stops; very simple but satisfactory hostel-style breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Bring a map, it's a little hard to find the place for the first time - it's not the hostel's fault, street name signs are really bad in Skopje (a great deal of them are missing, others still bear the old names of renamed streets..), even locals won't be of much help - when we asked about the street "Majka Tereza" in a shop 200m from the hostel, they had apparently never heard of it. If you are a turist, you may also consider postponing your visit to Skopje - there's a truly gargantuan re-building of the whole city center going on, so at the moment it feels like walking through a huge construction site - the whole project should be completed in 2014..
